This was a much anticipated movie in my house. My boys saw the previews and fell in love!! When they found out that I got to go and see it before them, they were not happy!!
I made it up to them by bringing them back a ton of fun toys and I took them to the Lowes Build and Grow Clinics where they got to build Dusty and El Chupacabra!!
If you are a Cars fan, then Planes is for you!! Dusty is a crop duster plane with big dreams. He wants to race like the big guys do. He enlists the help of some hilarious friends to help him train to be the best. He makes it into the race around the world, and has to compete against one not so nice big shot plane named Ripslinger.
Dusty overcomes many hurtles to complete the race and gains some true friends along the way. The cast of characters in this movie alone is awesome. Dane Cook does the voice of Dusty, along with Teri Hatcher, Brad Garrett, Cedric the Entertainer, and even cameos with Val Kilmer and Anthony Edwards (hehe, can you guess what other movie those two were in that involved planes!!)
I really think my favorite character was El Chupacabra. He has one terrific scene where he sings a love song and I laugh and laugh every time I see it!!
Disney's Planes is available on Blu Ray/DVD combo pack today. This would make a great Christmas gift for anyone on your list!!!
