For everyone who has ever used The Product Review Place's site to post giveaways, find reviews and companies to work with, or just be social, you might find this email message a tad disturbing.
Yesterday when I tried to go to the site to list some of my giveaways, I received an error message stating that the site was taken down by the administrator and should be up soon.
Today I received this email.
Does anyone know what is going on??

A message to all members of The Brand Buzz Network This is to inform you that The Product Review Place, LLC is no longer associated with The Product Review Place NING site. Papers were filed with the Secretary of State, Georgia last week for the dissolution of the LLC. We will be back online as soon as possible.
I hope that you trust your instincts moving forward and believe that I started TPRP and would NEVER do anything to jeopardize it. I refuse to comment publicly on what is happening with the business side as I believe it is truly unprofessional and we all have enough drama in our life without adding fuel to the fire.
I did bring TPRP offline yesterday on the advice of the lawyers because someone locked us out of the email account, Facebook, and twitter pages. Please be aware that all posts from the Facebook page, Twitter account, and theprplace@gmail.com email account are not under control of our network at this time. It is our recommendation to unfollow both the Facebook page and the Twitter account until we regain access so as not to fuel the flames. The NING site is owned by Lisa Samples and will be back online soon as we move forward. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions (lisa.samples@gmail.com.)
Also, for those of you who were members of our FB page please be aware that our community manager, Susan, was not and is not involved in any of the gossip you may or may not have heard. We think she has done a fabulous job and we hope she will continue to work with us as we move forward.
All Blogger Select dues will be returned to those that request it, all subscriptions have been cancelled until further notice.

Cookies
I am a huge supporter of Cancer research. have lost both Grandmothers to cancer, and currently I have an Aunt and Uncle battling.
I do what I can to help. My Sister in law walks for the American Cancer Society every year, and I usually donate money.
This year I am doing even more.
Ben and I have joined up with Cookies For Kids Cancer Research, to help raise money.
We are spending a lot of time next week baking up a storm to make dozens of cookies to sell for this great cause.
Yes, I know it's Mothers Day weekend, but what better way to spend my Mothers Day then trying to help children in need.
100% of all procedes will be donated to the cause!!
If you would like to buy some of our delicious (I hope so anyway!!) cookies to help the cause, I will have a link up starting later today.
The cost for the cookies will include shipping, and we will mail them all out on Monday May 9th to insure freshness!!
If you would like to just donate money, that is great too!!
I hope you will find it in your hearts to help a great cause, and in turn enjoy our cookies!!!
If you would like more information, or would like to join in, check out Cookies For Kids!!
Even a minor event in the life of a child is an event of that child's world and thus a world event. Gaston Bachelard (1884-1962) French philosopher and poet.
Beginnings
Cookies for Kids' Cancer, a 501(c)3 non profit, was founded by parents inspired by their son Liam’s battle with cancer. They were shocked to learn that the main reason over 25% of kids diagnosed with cancer do not survive is because of a lack of effective therapies. And the reason for the lack of therapies was very simple: lack of funding. They pledged to support the development of new and better treatments by giving people a simple way to get involved.
It all started with 96,000 cookies...
Gretchen had a crazy idea for a larger-than-life bake sale with the goal of baking 96,000 cookies with friends and volunteers. Dozens of other families whose children were also battling Neuroblastoma got involved and began to take orders for cookies from friends, co-workers, and neighbors. All 96,000 cookies were sold in three weeks, thanks to the work of over 250 volunteers. The event raised over $400,000 for pediatric cancer research, but it was soon clear that something bigger than a bake sale had begun. Even weeks after the event was over, requests for cookies kept coming in. What started as a desperate act to raise money and awareness for her child’s own cancer blossomed into something much bigger than any had planned. The event caught the eye and the hearts of the media and people all over the country. Emails from across the United States started flooding in asking the same simple question "what can we do to help?"
Be a Good Cookie
Make a difference by joining the mission to find a cure for pediatric cancer. There are many ways to support Cookies for Kids’ Cancer. Hosting a bake sale is a sweet and simple way for people everywhere to get involved in the fight against pediatric cancer. Send our cookies for birthdays, anniversaries, or “just because.” Our cookies taste as good to eat as they feel to give.
And you don’t have to eat or bake cookies to be a Good Cookie. Other supporters have run marathons, held tag sales, organized golf tournaments, collected spare change, and hosted car washes to support Cookies for Kids’ Cancer. We’ve even made it simple to donate online once or once a month with online giving. The ideas are only limited by your imagination. No effort is too small and every penny counts.
Our mission:
Cookies for Kids' Cancer is committed to raising funds to support research for new and improved therapies for pediatric cancer, the leading cause of death by disease for children under the age of 18. Through the concept of local bake sales, Cookies for Kids' Cancer provides the inspiration and support for individuals, communities, and businesses to help fight pediatric cancer.
Facts about Kids' Cancers
Cookies for Kids’ Cancer is not about one child or one type of pediatric cancer. It is about changing the facts of pediatric cancer for the better, forever. Important statistics to know:
•Cancer claims the lives of more children annually than any other disease – more than asthma, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis & AIDS combined. •46 children per day are diagnosed with cancer totaling nearly 13,000 new cases per year. •Cure rates have improved dramatically and advances in childhood cancer research has provided seminal insights into the cancer problem in general. Today, 4 out 5 children diagnosed with cancer can be cured. •While long-term goals for the pediatric cancer community will focus on securing more federal funding for childhood cancer research (more than the 1-2% of the National Cancer Institute budget that is current expended), philanthropy plays a critical and essential role in the ongoing battle against childhood cancer. About the Founders
Gretchen and Larry Witt founded Cookies for Kids’ Cancer in 2008, just a few short months after the success of their first cookie sale during the holidays 2007. Their efforts have always been inspired by their son Liam who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2007 at the age of 2. Tragically, Liam came to the end of his courageous 4-year fight with cancer on January 24, 2011 at the age of 6 ½. Though devastated by his loss, the Witts remain more determined than ever to continue the fight against pediatric cancer.
Gretchen Witt has been recognized nationally for her leadership as a mom on a mission. In 2010, Witt was named one of Woman’s Day Magazine’s 50 Women Changing the World and Traditional Home Magazine’s Classic Woman of the Year. She was also featured in the December 2009 issue of O, the Oprah Magazine, for her work with Cookies for Kids’ Cancer. She accepts speaking engagements to tell the story of the beginnings of Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, the need for funding for pediatric cancer research, and to share her experiences as a mother fighting endlessly for her son and for all children. Her story resonates as one of determination and guts with a willingness to stop at nothing to do what’s right and what’s best for all kids fighting cancer. Audiences as varied as The Cornell Club NYC, Meredith College’s 2010 Commencement and the International Housewares Show in Chicago have all been inspired by her words and her passion.

The star studded cast of Super Heroes will be joined by Cobie Smulders (“How I Met Your Mother) as Agent Maria Hill of SHIELD, as well as Tom Hiddleston (“Wallander”) and Stellan SkarsgĂ„rd (“Angels & Demons,” “Mamma Mia!”) who will both reprise their respective roles as Loki and Professor Erik Selvig from the upcoming Marvel Studios’ feature “Thor.”
“Marvel’s The Avengers” is being produced by Marvel Studios' President, Kevin Feige, and executive produced by Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Louis D’Esposito, Patty Whitcher, and Jon Favreau. Marvel Studios’ Jeremy Latcham and Victoria Alonso will co-produce.
The creative production team also includes Oscar® nominated director of photography Seamus McGarvey (“Atonement”), production designer James Chinlund (“25th Hour”), Oscar winning costume designer Alexandra Byrne (“Elizabeth: The Golden Age”), Oscar winning visual effects supervisor Janek Sirrs (“Iron Man 2,” “The Matrix”), visual effects producer Susan Pickett (“Iron Man,” “Iron Man 2”), stunt coordinator R.A. Rondell (“Superman Returns”), and four-time Oscar nominated special effects supervisor Dan Sudick (“Iron Man,” “War of the Worlds”). The editors include Oscar nominated Paul Rubell (“Collateral”) and Jeffrey Ford (“Crazy Heart”).
Marvel Studios most recently produced “Iron Man 2” which was released in theatres on May 7, 2010. The sequel to “Iron Man,” starring Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow as well as Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson and Mickey Rourke, took the number one spot its first weekend with a domestic box office gross of $128.1 million. To date the film has earned over $620 million in worldwide box office receipts.
In the summer of 2008, Marvel produced the summer blockbuster movies, “Iron Man” and “The Incredible Hulk.” “Iron Man,” in which Robert Downey Jr. originally dons the Super Hero’s powerful armor alongside co-stars Terrence Howard, Jeff Bridges and Gwyneth Paltrow, was released May 2, 2008 and was an immediate box office success. Garnering the number one position for two weeks in a row, the film brought in over $100 million its opening weekend and grossed over $571 million worldwide. On June 13, 2008, Marvel released “The Incredible Hulk” marking its second number one opener of that summer. The spectacular revival of the iconic green goliath grossed over $250 million in worldwide box office receipts.

That was nice of Steve to make amends with Phillip even though he doesn't deserve it!!
I can't believe that Phillip found his shorts!!! Poor Matt. I can't blame him for being down. He has spent most of his time by himself.
I am glad Matt is staying. I hope he wins the game!! Poor Julie. I liked her. I feel bad about her situation in real life. The log challenge looks tough. I don't think I could do it!! Poor Ralph. He was soooo close to immunity!!!
Grant, Rob and Andrea eating that cake was gross!!!
What does Rob expect? Of course Steve and Ralph are going to try something with the other players. They have too!!
I liked how Steve brought up the way Rob has played in the past seasons. All though it didn't do any good. The twist is interesting. I hope Steve survives!!
Poor Steve lost at the last card. Not good.
Poor Steve. We will see if he can survive redemption island!!
Now it's going to get interesting to see who goes first from Ometepe.
I am sorry to have to say goodbye to Kari. Thank you for playing!!!

With so few teams left, none of them can afford anymore mistakes!!
Gary and Mallory were very lucky last week. I hope they can recover.
I would love to travel like the teams do. I wouldn't want to sleep and miss anything. How often do you ever get the chance to visit all those places!! Lol, at least it is a motorized bike they ride to measure the countries size!!
I hate math, and I feel horrible for Gary and Mallory trying to figure it out.
Those bikes look like fun!!
Poor Jet has to go back and start all over!!
That was nice of Zev and Justin to give the Globe Trotters a correct total. Poor Jet and Cord have a lot of catching up to do!!
That's a lot of cheese to eat!!
The luggage challenge sounds just as hard though.
Just looking at all that cheese makes my tummy sick!!!
Kent is such a wimp!! Oh my, I want to hit him!!
Flight Time and Big Easy had the right idea with the luggage. Take it all at once!!
Poor Zev and Justin must be having a hard time walking after all that cheese!! Zev and Justin are nice not to u-turn anyone. I would feel horrible doing that. Kisha and Jenn did the same thing. That was nice.
Poor Flight Time and Big Easy loosing two tags. That's not good!! Ok now I don't feel bad for the globetrotters. That was cruel, u-turning the cowboys, and unnecessary. I hate to say goodbye to Jet and Cord. They were one of my favorite teams!!
So on that note, I need to say goodbye to The Holleys. Thank you for playing. Amanda and Kris-TAKEN BY LB
Gary and Mallory-TAKEN BY CHRISTINA
