Chord Piano Is Fun Book ~~Giveaway~~

When I was younger, I played the clarinet, flute, saxophone, and base clarinet. I also had a keyboard, so I sort of learned the basics to the piano.

I wish I had learned the piano. That is one of the instruments that I want my children to learn too.

Tammy's book seems like a great fit for anyone trying to learn and/or teach the piano!!

Learn Chord Piano!

A FUN and EASY Way to Play Piano! An actual student who has learned to play chord piano with Chord Piano Is Fun! He now plays with the worship band at his church and loves it!

With Chord Piano Is Fun! you can learn to play chord piano fast and easily at home. With this easy method you will be able to play the songs you've always wanted to play, as well as learn how to accompany yourself or others on the piano.

Chord Piano Is Fun! is the perfect book for the person who has played piano in the past, but wonders, "What have I done with my piano?" (And this doesn't mean that it's hiding somewhere.) Maybe you walk by your piano every day and wish that you could remember something that you learned when you took piano lessons all those years ago. OR, this book is for the current piano student, who wants to learn how to play popular music, learn to play by ear, or learn to write music. It also teaches you how to play the blues and write your own song! OR, this book is for the Music Teacher, who is looking for JUST the right book to teach your students how to play chord piano and learn to read lead sheets or chord charts.

What is "Chord Piano"?

Many people who have taken piano lessons in the past have only learned how to play the written note, and are not able to improvise or create their own music. Many of these people wish they could sit down and play anything they want to, easily, without having to read each note – like they see others do. Or, they would love to be able to play along with themselves as they sing, or even accompany others. This book will show you how to do that.

You will learn to read chord charts so that you can play popular, rock, jazz, country, or Christian music fast and easily. This is “Chord Piano”. Once you know chords, and how they go together, not only will you be able to pick something up by ear, but you will even be able to write your own music.

I have taught people this information from age 7 to age 82 and have students as young as 7 years old writing their own songs with the method in this book.

Who should buy "Chord Piano Is Fun!"?

•Those who have taken piano lessons in the past (even just a few months) and don't remember what you learned

•Those who always wanted to play piano popular music but was never taught how in piano lessons

•Those who have taken piano lessons in the past and were just bored or frustrated or it didn't make much sense

•Those who always wanted to pick up a favorite piece of music and just play it

•Those who have always wanted to be able to play for yourself while you sing or accompany others

•Those who only know the basics of piano, but still want to play fantastic sounding songs

•Those who want to learn how to play in a band or worship team

•Those of you who teach piano and and want to learn how to play "by chord" yourself

•Those who teach piano and want a great book to use to teach their students to learn to play "by chord" so they can play the popular music they want to play

•Those who teach piano and want a "niche" you can advertise and give yourself a wait list you wouldn't believe! This book is for ALL AGES, as long as you know the basics of the piano keyboard. What will I learn with "Chord Piano Is Fun!"? With Chord Piano Is Fun, you will:

•Learn how to make all types of chords, how to practice them and how to put them together to make music.

•Learn how to write songs.

•Learn how to play the "blues".

•Learn music more quickly because you now understand how it is made up.

•Be able to play anything from a "fake book" or other popular piano book.

•Know more than most of those who take piano lessons, because this is not learned in method books.

What will I get with "Chord Piano Is Fun!"?

Chord Piano Is Fun also contains five bonus Addendums (now also available separately) which can be used as quick references to all of the information you learn in the book. These in themselves are a fabulous resource for any type of musician.

You will also receive immediate access to the Customer page, which provides you with any new additions or updates to Chord Piano Is Fun. This is an EXCELLENT book to have for your music library or if you want to learn more about how music is made up and how you can make more of it yourself!

A Lot Like Love Book Review And ~~Giveaway~~

The FBI wants her cooperation.

As the daughter of a billionaire and the owner of the city’s top wine store, Jordan Rhodes is invited to the most exclusive parties in Chicago. But there’s only one party the FBI wants to crash: the charity fundraiser of a famous restaurateur, who also happens to launder money for the mob. In exchange for her brother’s release from prison, Jordan is going to be there—with a date supplied by the Bureau.

Agent McCall just wants her.

As the top undercover agent in Chicago, Nick McCall has one rule: never get personal. This “date” with Jordan Rhodes is merely an assignment—one they’re both determined to pull off even if they can’t be together for five minutes before the sarcasm and sparks begin to fly. But when Nick’s investigation is compromised, he and Jordan have no choice but to pretend they’re a couple, and what starts out as a simple assignment begins to feel a lot like something more. .

OK, in case you have never read my blog before (lol) I am a HUGE romance book fan!! I love them.

Not that I don't get enough love in my life (My Hubby is awesome) but reading other peoples stories are great and I can dream that my Hubby is a VIP big muscled man!!! lol

Now this is the first book I have read from Julie James, and I have to say WOW!!!

Julie keeps you guessing and wanting to keep on reading!!

In this modern day romance, Jordan is my ideal heroine. She is living her dream. Except for the fact that her Father is a Billionaire and everyone thinks she is too, and her Brother is in jail for shutting down Twitter!!!

Jordan loves what she does, running her own wine store, and living her life the way she wants. She doesn't want and or need any complications. That is when she meets Nick.

Nick is an undercover FBI agent. His life is simple, yet complicated. He works undercover in all sorts of situations. Recently he was in jail (for a job!!) When his boss calls him in to work with Jordan to bring down a money launder, his life is turned upside down.

This was supposed to be a quick job. Instead Nick and Jordan now have to act like a couple, and survive each other.

The characters in this book are hilarious, and make you fall in love with them.

The action is great, and like I said, you can't wait to see what happens next.

Luckily for one of you, you don't have to wait too long!!!

I am lucky enough to be able to give one of you, your very own copy of A lot like love!!

Survivor Fantasy Game Week 7

Poor David is now going to be on the outs with his team.

I can't blame Matt for not wanting to hear Stephanie talk about food. If I was hungry, that would annoy me too!!

Phillip is one strange man.

I like the memory game challenges. I am really good at those match games!!

Matt gets a match right off the bat. WOW!!!

Then Stephanie does too. That's weird.

This game is all luck this time. Matt is doing really well.

Matt goes and wins again. Man he is really good. I think Rob is getting nervous.

David is very much on the outs. If Zapetera looses at the challenge, he will go.

Phillip needs to watch his butt too. I can't blame him for being mad, but he needs to keep his temper in check. That is why I wouldn't do well on this game. I would snap at the stupidity.

The obstacle challenge looks like fun!!

Oh my was that a close challenge. Ometepe kicked butt again. Wow Grant is the player to beat!!

Phillip slowed them down a lot though. He really needs to be careful.

Seeing an active volcano would be cool, but I would be really scared!!

Rob is funny with those clues. I love how he threw it in the volcano.

Of course Zapetera is nervous. They are down in the numbers and are not winning at all.

Sarita is scrambling big time!!
Ralph is sooooooo hairy!!!!

I am not sure who is going to redemption. This is tough.

Wow Sarita got blind sided. I am shocked.

I am betting Ralph stuck with voting David.

Merging already. This season is half over!!

I am sorry to have to say goodbye to Debbie. Thank you for playing!!

Blogger is Frustrating!!!

I don't know if anyone else is having the same problem, but when ever I write up a post, the html blurs together (all paragraphs.)

Ahhhhhh. I have to correct it manually at least four times before I can publish the post.

If I make the mistake of publishing and then have to go back, I have to redo it again and again.

I hope this issue gets fixed soon. It is really making posting hard.

Amazing Race Fantasy Game Week 6

I still can't believe that Kent and Vyxsin made a come back like that!!

I love Tea. I would love that challenge!!! That is the only one so far that I would be really good at!!!

I love Mango's, so that Tea would be just for me!!!

That was very smart of Ron and Christina to ask what it was.

Wow there are a lot of people in India.

Those cab's drive like maniacs.

That was hilarious. The joke the Globetrotters played on the other teams, telling them to run!!!!

Wow Ron did really well!! I hope I could do that too!!

I would have stayed there for awhile just so I could drink the teas!!!

I don't understand why the remaining teams can't figure out the Mango taste.

Jenn and Kisha are having a rough time. It took them forever to open the cap!!

I think I would like the painting challenge better.

There Ron goes complaining yet again!!!

Luke likes to whine a lot too, doesn't he?? Just do the challenge.

That was very nice of the people at the tea challenge to support Luke, even though he probably could have used a slap to the head!!!

The kids at the school are cute!!!

Gary and Mallory made team #1 again!!

Wow their prizes are cool. Have a great dinner and a show and get $20,000 cash. That's great!!

That stinks for the Globetrotters. They were almost done and then they spilt the paint. Ouch.

I am glad Flight Time and Big Easy are still in the race. I like them a lot.

Poor Margie and Luke. I was thinking that this might be a non elimination round. I guess not.

On that note I need to say goodbye to Joann. Thank you for playing.

Another Night In Paradise Book Review And~~Giveaway~~

Another Night in Paradise is a personalized novel set on the mythical Windros Isle in the Caribbean and is not a sequel to Another Day in Paradise. Our couple come across a meteorite worth beaucoups bucks and a yacht full of bad guys willing to kill for it. Meanwhile, they tour a plantation, romp under a waterfall, shop at an island market and make unforgettable love atop a villa under a sky filled with shooting stars. There's even a plunge pool rendezvous. Both the love and the action sizzle from start to finish.

This was a fun read. Not only is it a romance book, but Ben and I are the stars of it!!!!

I won a copy of a book of my choosing, from Your Novel.com.

This is the book I choose.

I got to add personal information (our names, friends names, likes, etc) and they filled the info into this book.

Some of the love scenes were a little bit much for us (we are not that daring) but it was really fun to imagine us doing them!!! lol

The plot involved us taking on a couple bad guys. Even though Ben is a Sheriff, I think I would have been the one wearing pants and taking on the bad guys!! I am tougher!!!

Over all, I really loved the story and the idea of putting yourself in a book.

I will be getting another one!!!

I am very lucky to be able to give one of you a paperback copy of your own!!
There are many titles to choose from.

I know you will love reading about your own adventures, or you can give this as a gift!!

Salon Grafix Thermal Spray ~~Giveaway~~

Salon Grafix has long been known for making affordable salon quality hair care products, so every woman can enjoy quality and value when it comes to their hair. Whether you are looking for styling products like hair spray or mousse or our unique dry spray shampoo, Salon Grafix offers a complete line of products… for super sexy hair every day of the week. It’s what women want, and it’s why they choose Salon Grafix over any other brand. Every styling product is humidity resistant, offering all day hold, with the flexibility to brush through and restyle. Salon Grafix dry spray shampoo absorbs oil and odor, leaving hair fresh and clean feeling with no powdery residue – and no water.

With Salon Grafix your hair looks great day and night, whether you’re lounging around or out on the town. Salon Grafix. Any woman. Any style. Everyday sexy.

The Company Story-

The Salon Grafix hair care line was developed to offer high-quality, yet affordable hair care products to the masses. When company president John Petchul began cultivating the idea in 1983, big hair was not just a trend for some; it was the standard for all. People would run through cans of hair spray at breakneck speed in order to maintain the latest styles, but while everyone wants to look good, no one wants to spend their life savings doing so.

That’s where Salon Grafix Shaping Hair Spray fit in. Salon Grafix Shaping Hair Spray offered the salon quality that people wanted without the high price tag. Salon Grafix Shaping Hair Spray was an instant success as soon as it hit the market, yet the people demanded more: more hold, more variety, more convenience.

Salon Grafix Freezing Hair Spray took hold level up a notch and made hairstyles that require long lasting hold easy to maintain. The Shaping line was expanded to include three varieties: Super Hold, Extra Super Hold and Unscented. The Freezing line now offers a fragrance free version of the product as well. If you can create the style, Salon Grafix has a formula perfectly suited to maintain it for you, from every day looks to formal affairs.

Variety, convenience, quality ingredients and a modest cost. As time went by, the Salon Grafix line expanded to meet the requirements of the public. Non-Aerosol versions of the Freezing Hair Spray and a Shaping & Volumizing Hair Spray were added. Early last year, Salon Grafix added Instant Volume Spray Foam and Finishing Spray to the product family, offering exceptional body with the first application. Most recently, Salon Grafix Travel Sized Hair Sprays (in both Freezing and Shaping versions) were launched to assist with today’s fast-paced lifestyles.

Salon Grafix is now the #1 brand of aerosol hair spray sold at retail stores across the United States and have recently become available in Canada, with plans to expand to Mexico and Europe in the near future.

In 2004, we opened a state of the art distribution center in Auburn Hills, Michigan to accommodate our tremendous sales growth and increase our shipping efficiency, making it less likely for your next store visit to result in an empty shelf where your favorite Salon Grafix product should be.

This is the first product which protects hair up to 450 degrees of styling heat. It is perfect for flat irons, hair dryers, curling irons or any other heated instruments that may damage the hair.

I haven't gotten to try it, but I have noticed that my hair is drying out pretty quickly with the constant straitening.

I can't wait to give this a try.

Lucky for one of you, you get too!!!

Salon Grafix is giving one lucky reader a bottle of their new Thermal Spray.

Nutella Mommy Party

" If you like peanut butter, you will surely like Nutella!! The combination of roasted hazelnuts, skim milk and cocoa create a deliciously unique creamy, chocolaty taste with a hint of that roasted nut flavor that will delight your taste buds as you enjoy each delicious mouthful. What is Nutella? Nutella (pronounced new-tell-uh), is a deliciously unique spread made from cocoa, hazelnuts, and skim milk, that is spread delicious on a wide variety of breads. Nutella, in its original form, was first created in the 1940's by Mr. Pietro Ferrero, a pastry maker and founder of the Ferrero company. At the time, cocoa was in short supply because of rationing due to World War II, so chocolate was very limited. So Mr. Ferrero used hazelnuts, which are plentiful in the Piedmont region of Italy (northwest), to extend the chocolate supply."

"An original idea… NutellaThe first version of what would become the revolutionary invention of the century and what is now one of the most famous food specialities in the world – Nutella – was founded in a backroom of the pastry shop founded in Alba in 1944 by Pietro Ferrero. Since then, Nutella continues to inspire and satisfy the palate of the entire world: from the United States to Europe, Australia to Canada, its unique taste and its distinctive jar appeal to consumers of all generations. Thanks to its inimitable recipe and its genuine and carefully selected ingredients, Nutella, spread on bread, has become an essential element to the breakfast ritual and serves as a great way to begin the day."

I was given the opportunity to host a Mommies Party featuring Nutella.

Until the party pack got here, I had heard of Nutella, but had never tried it!!

Oh my is it goooooooood!!!!

I am not a big hazelnut fan, but I don't really taste the hazelnut in it. I taste chocolate!!!

Take a look at the great party gifts my mommy friends were given.

We wanted to try simple recipes with the Nutella at first (I was given a jar for the party)

We started with Nutella on toast, and then had Nutella and Peanut Butter sandwiches!!!

The next day, so I didn't have to share (lol) we made the Breakfast roll ups. Absolutely delicious!!

Nutella will now be a fixture in this house!!

If you would like to try Nutella for yourself, you can head here for a $1 off coupon.

**All opinions expressed are 100% my own. I was given the above items to try with my friends. thanks to Mommy Parties and Nutella.**

Disney Social Media Moms Conference Day 1 (Part 5)

After a long (we got up at 1:30am) but fun filled day, the boys and sister decided to relax in the pool!! I couldn't find the energy to swim so I watched!!!

I didn't want to make my posts too long, so as a finale to day one, I figured I would include some fun facts in this last one!!!

Disney has been doing weddings for 20 years now. This is their platinum anniversary.

In honor of their 20th anniversary, Disney is now offering couples the chance to renew their vows for a great price!!

$1991 (the year they first started) buys you a ceremony in their Memories Collection at any of these great locations- Conch Key Marina at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Narcoossee’s Landing at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Luau Beach at Disney’s Polynesian Resort.

The Memories Collection includes up to six guests, including the couple, a floral bouquet for the bride, solo violinist, transportation (three-hour limousine charter) and a professional photographer for one hour.

Over 40,000 couples have gotten married in Disney World
.

An average wedding in Utah costs about $13,000.

An average wedding in Manhattan costs about $71,000!!

Our wedding cost us $35,000!!!! (We paid it all off before the wedding too!!! We were engaged 4 years to pay for it by ourselves!!!! lol)

Disney Social Media Moms Conference Day 1 (Part 4)

After the wedding ceremony, we were reunited with our families and sent to a wedding reception!!!

We walked over and were greeted by cast members with trays and trays of wines and beer!!!

My Sister and Husband were in heaven!!! Granted Ben Sr has one drink and he's done (once in a blue moon I might add), he was just gitty that it was free!!!

I didn't get any pictures of the food (I was too busy enjoying it!!!) but oh it was good!!

We had shish-kabobs (sp), all sorts of veggies, and delicious pasta salads. Even the desserts were awesome!!! (I ate 4 huge sugar cookies!! Yes I am a pig!!!)

The area we were in was right at the lake, and they even set up games for the kids.

We were sung too by a great trio, and had some spectacular guests arrive to say hi!!!

All in all the dinner was the perfect end to a great first day in at the conference!!!

All though it didn't quite end there for us!!!

**I was not compensated for this post. I was not even asked or expected to write it. I was given discounts to attend the conference, and stay in Disney World, a couple meals and gift bags. All opinions expressed are 100% my own. It is a pleasure for me to write about a company that I firmly believe in**

Disney Social Media Moms Conference Day 1 (Part 3)

Once we got back from Magic Kingdom, I said goodbye to the boys and my sister, and went over to the wedding pavilion.

As soon as I got close, there was a table set up with ladies handing out wedding ears and top hats to all!!

I had gotten a pair on our honeymoon, but they were ruined during a move. I was soooo excited to get them.

Then I went bug eyed!!

In front of the office of the wedding pavilion were two tables FULL of all sorts of candy.

The below picture is what was left when we got home, but I did get a really nice box full of jelly beans, chocolates and lolly pops!!

Isn't this a beautiful spread?? You can get this as your favor for your wedding!!!

I wish I had thought of this when we got married. All my guests would have loved it!!

There were even tables set up along the candy so we could snack, and drink champagne!!!

Outside, they set up a couple mannequins with beautiful dresses!!! Of course they are all made to resemble Disney Princess'. I would have loved to try one on!!!

I guess we were all hungry!!! The candy went pretty quickly!!

This was my favorite dress. Isn't it gorgeous??

I went inside to explore the office/meeting room to discuss wedding plans.

Here are some of the setups on display.

I love this cake!! It is sooo classic and beautiful!! The cake topper is cute, but I liked mine (bride and groom dancing)

This was the first time I had ever been in the wedding pavilion. It is beautiful!!

We got to meet one of the designers behind the gorgeous princess wedding dresses by Alfred Angelo.

It's hard to see from my picture, but that is the newest Cinderella dress, and standing behind the model is "Franc" from Father of the Bride. He was quite funny!!! He also had a partner in crime, who I think was supposed to be Edna from The Incredibles.

After hearing from Carley Roney (theknotnot.com and thebump.com) we got to meet a newly wed couple. They had gotten married in Disney 2 years ago.

Then the highlight of the day for me, and for my Sister (who was extremely jealous that I got to meet him) was David Tutera from "My Fair Wedding!!"

He talked to us about his new season and how the first episode is going to be extra special. I really want to tell you about it, but I am not going to spoil it for people who watch the show. I will tell you that you should have tissues handy. I teared up when he told us about it!!

After we heard from the speakers, we were in for a treat. The couple we had met earlier, were renewing their vows and we got to see it!!!

The bridesmaids entered the room dancing down the isle. It was a really cute twist!!

The groomsmen soon joined in, and it felt like a real celebration!!

All though the pictures didn't come out well, the bride danced down the isle too.

The couple renewed their vows (which Ben and I will do in two more years in Disney!!!) and then we walked them outside.

As soon as the couple left the pavilion, fireworks went off and the happy couple got to hop into the one and only Cinderellas Carriage. Boy was I jealous!!!

Now as we were waving goodbye to the couple, I realized I was standing in the wrong spot!!!

This gentleman below was about to set off canons!!!! Filled with streamers of course, but I had no clue if it was going to blow my eardrums or not.

Luckily the canons were not that loud, but the display they made was gorgeous!!!

After the canon fire, we were informed to head to dinner.

Wait till you see what Disney did for us!!! (Next post!!!)

**I was not compensated for this post. I was not even asked or expected to write it. I was given discounts to attend the conference, and stay in Disney World, a couple meals and gift bags. All opinions expressed are 100% my own. It is a pleasure for me to write about a company that I firmly believe in**
