Morris The Cat Would Like Your Help To Paw It Forward For The ASPCA This Holiday Season! #MorrisFeeds

Hey Sarah's Blog of Fun readers! Morris the Cat, from 9Lives cat food, here. (You may have thought that a cat's only computer skills involve laying on the keyboard while others are trying to use it, but in fact, we are very tech savvy.)

For those of you who don't know me, I've starred in over fifty 9Lives cat food commercials, am an advo-cat for kitty rescue, and was even crowned one of Advertising's Greatest Icons by the Museum of Broadcast Communications. (But I must say, I took issue with this honor. I didn't know I was advertising all those years... I just really love 9Lives!)

In case you couldn't guess, I'm purr-ty much an expert when it comes to eating, and that's the subject of my next venture. As you know, the holidays are 'prime eating time' and I want you to be able to chow down like a pro.

I also thought, with everyone in the holiday spirit, it's a great time to give back. Lucky for you, giving back is as easy as using your opposable thumbs. Chili's And You Can Help St. Jude On September 24th

I’d like to introduce you to Nylah.

Nylah, like many other 3 year olds, loves riding her tricycle, cooking and watching “Dora the Explorer.” Unlike other 3 year olds, Nylah became a patient of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in 2010, after she was diagnosed with Wilms’ tumor in her left kidney. Now, thanks to St. Jude, Nylah is finished with her treatment and returns for regular checkups, at no cost at all to her or her mother Danielle.

Chili’s is in the brand's ninth annual Create-A-Pepper to Fight Childhood Cancer campaign benefiting St. Jude. This year’s campaign, which runs through September 26, supports St. Jude’s cancer-fighting work through the sale of T-shirts, chili-pepper coloring sheets and zipper pulls with proceeds going to the hospital. However, on one special day, guests can help support St. Jude by simply ordering a meal while dining in the restaurant or to take home.

On Monday, Sept. 24, Chili’s will donate 100 percent of net profits at participating restaurants nationwide to St. Jude in what ChiliHeads call Donate Profits Day. Profits earned on this day will go to support families of patients like Nylah as they bravely face the challenges of childhood cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
