After checking into our amazing room at the Grand Floridian, I had to check in at the Conference Hall to get my itinerary.
I have to admit, I was a little nervous. I talk to a lot of people on-line, and I am a people person in real life, but mixing the two scared me.
I walked in and was instantly greeted by a nice man who gave me a folder with all my conference information and two huge bags full of awesome items!!
I was given in one bag a couple magazines, books, blanket, water bottle, hat, umbrella, mouse pad, book mark, business card holder, MP3 player dock, Susan Egan signed CD, and a complete picnic bag (with dishes.)In the second bag I was given a soccer ball, a couple of small toy balls, dried fruit, gummy vitamins, basil and parsley seeds, a water bottle, and a coupon for Purdue chicken.
Wow, was all I could think. I had just gotten here, and already soooo much!!
We had a couple hours free time until my first meeting, so we headed out to Magic Kingdom!!
Our first stop was Pirates of The Caribbean!!! One of our favorite rides, and all of us (including Doug) could go on it!!After that, The Ben's went to hit Splash Mountain. I was given a Media Fast Pass. This gave us instant Fast Pass tickets to get right on the ride.
The parks were a little crowded (Florida School Vacation) so after the Ben's got off the ride, we had to rush back to the Grand Floridian so I could attend the first conference!!
