Mean Green Cleaners Help With Spring Cleaning! #MeanGreen #Clean

**All opinion expressed are 100% my own.  I was compensated for this post, and given products for review purposes.**

Mean Green is known as a national and international, superior all-purpose cleaner for the toughest jobs around your house, your garage or your work. The iconic "Super Strength" formula is made with a unique blend of detergents and solvents that form a powerful heavy duty cleaner and degreaser. Lab tests prove it beats nearly every other cleaner on nearly every stain. And because it’s biodegradable, non-toxic and contains no acid, ammonia, or bleach, you can feel safe using it just about anywhere, inside and out.

Well this seems kind of silly to say right now with a snow storm blowing through, but it is Spring!!  I have already started the dreaded but appreciated task of spring cleaning.  I always start with the bathrooms (the smallest rooms,) and leave the kitchen (the hardest to clean) for last.

This year, I am working with Mean Green on a series of posts all about cleaning, and how hopefully their products will make the horrible chores easier!!

I was sent a variety of products to try, and starting with the bathroom, their Mildew Destroyer was first on my list.  I do not have tiles in my shower where water can get to them.  I do have decorative tiles at the top, but unless you are trying to get those wet, they are usually safe!!  However, the shower spout, handle and walls do get quite icky with soap scum.  I hate cleaning the shower and scrubbing for what seems like hours.  I gave Mean Greens Mildew Destroyer a shot to see how well it works to prevent me from getting tennis elbow!!

Mean Green Mildew Destroyer is a must have for cleaning and disinfecting areas with mildew and soap scum like the bathroom, kitchen, patio and more. Mildew Destroyer is a bleach-based cleaner and disinfectant. It destroys what is growing in dark, damp spaces.

It has been used to clean and disinfect areas which are common for mold, mildew, athlete’s foot, salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus (bacteria) and soap scum. Those spaces are showers, bathtubs, sinks, toilets, tile and grout, floors and garbage cans.

Mildew Destroyer is also effective against Salmonella enterica and Staphylococcus aureus in 30 seconds.

I am not going to lie, I have not cleaned the shower in a couple weeks.  It was not as bad as it could have been, but still embarrassing!! The Mildew Destroyer is easy to use, just spray on, wait a couple minutes and then wipe off.  I started with spraying down the spout and one corner of the shower that seemed to be the ickiest!!

The cleaner does have a heavy bleach smell to it, so make sure your room is well ventilated.  I also used gloves to prevent the smell from staying on my hands for weeks.  I sprayed the cleaner on and waited a couple minutes to wipe away.  I was hoping just a regular sponge would be enough, but sadly it was not.  I did need steal wool to remove some of the yuck.  Here's the great part though; it required very little scrubbing!!  I was not crying in pain after cleaning the shower!!

Overall I am very impressed with the Mildew Destroyer, and it will be a steeple in my cleaning arsenal!!

After the shower, I decided to clean a mess that has been driving me nuts for days; the very dreaded microwave.  No, it is not in the bathroom (all though my parents had one in theirs for awhile!! (it was put in there while they were redoing their kitchen,)) but it really needed a cleaning and I couldn't stand it anymore!!  I will ask that you please don't judge me for my mess (I know it's bad!! lol)

The cleaner best used for this nastiness is Mean Greens Orange Champ.  The mess is fairly new, so I should not need industrial cleaner yet!!  The Orange Champ works well on a multitude of surfaces, and the best part is that it smells great!!

Mean Green Orange Champ is a multi-purpose, multi-surface cleaner and degreaser with orange power. Orange Champ cuts through tough grease and grime leaving a fresh citrus aroma, a scent of clean. It gives a powerful clean that is safe on most washable surfaces throughout your family’s home.

I sprayed the cleaner on the mess, and left it for about two minutes.  I then wiped it clean, and rinsed it with water.  All it needed was a gentle wipe.  No scrubbing!!

I think it did a pretty good job, what do you think??  The Orange Champ can be used on a wide variety of products from stoves, to sinks, to even floors!!

So far I am really enjoying the Mean Green products, and my spring cleaning is coming along much faster!!

You can purchase Mean Green products at Walmart, Family Dollar, Dollar General or on Amazon.  Make sure you follow them on Facebook and Twitter to keep tabs on new products and contests, and keep checking back here for more reviews!!

I'd love to try the Mildew Destroyer in my bathroom. I hate cleaning the tub and this might make the job easier.
The microwave also looks great.
Thank you for the review!
