Here are some fun facts for you about McDonald's breakfast items-

In 1975 the Egg McMuffin was first introduced.

In 2000 the Fruit & Yogurt Parfait was introduced.

In 2009 McCafe goes national.

In 2012 The Shamrock Shake is available nationally (ok technically not breakfast, but it's my all time favorite item!!)

In 2015 (today actually!!) McDonald's starts serving breakfast all day!!  Yes you read that right, ALL DAY!!

Now when you are craving Egg McMuffins, Sausage Burritos, or even Hashbrowns at dinner time, you can get them!!

Beginning October 6, McDonald’s restaurants in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts will offer All Day Breakfast!

• All Day Breakfast menu items include*:

      McMuffin Sandwiches: Egg McMuffin; Sausage McMuffin with Egg; Sausage McMuffin

      Platters: Hotcakes with Sausage ; Hotcakes 

      Sausage Burrito

      Sides: Fruit ‘N Yogurt Parfait; Fruit & Maple Oatmeal; Hash Browns

• All Day Breakfast items can be enjoyed along with our World Famous Fries and other iconic favorites, such as the Big Mac and Filet-O-Fish. 

• All Day Breakfast is the number one request of McDonald’s from its customers. More than 120,000 people tweeted McDonald’s asking for breakfast throughout the day in the past year alone.
