It's summer time. The kids are home, and it's hot, hot, hot!!!
As any parent will tell you, a beverage of choice for a child this time of year is Kool Aid!!! I know my boys ask for it often throughout the day (and so do I!!)
One of the things I love the most about Kool Aid is that it can be used in SO many different ways. You do not just have to drink it straight!!
We got creative with some Kool Aid the other day and made what we love to call "Bug Juice!!"
This is a really simple to make and delicious summer time treat!!
All you need is Kool Aid (we used Tropical Punch,) some frozen fruit (we used Black Berries,) and Ice Cream (we used Cake and Sprinkles)
Using our Vitamix, we blended them all together and made a tasty treat. We called it Bug Juice because with the black berries it looked like little bugs were in it!! I hang around boys way too much!!!
Even though it was "Bug Juice," it was mighty tasty bug juice!!! Creamy and delicious!!
