By sharing you are helping form the movement and spreading the word.

For many years, my Husband and I rented apartments and houses.  We never really had to do yard work other then mow.

Now we own our home, and the first spring that we were here, we went crazy with fixing up our lawn.

We had horribly overgrown bushes, and grass that was full of weeds.

Over the last six years, we have worked very hard to make our lawn beautiful, and that is in part thanks to Scott's products.

We have used a ton of different Scott's products including Ortho® Bug B Gon® Garden Insect Killer, Miracle-Gro® Garden Soil for Trees & Shrubs, and Scotts® Garden Soil.

Our latest gardening project was to make a beautiful flower patch.  We had gotten granite remnants from a local quarry, and used those to line the area for our flower bed.

After everything was cleared out, we sprinkled some Scott's Shake n’ Feed Moisture Control All Purpose Plant Food into the bed, and re tilled the soil.

Then we laid out the flowers to figure out where they would look the best.

Normally I don't mind getting dirty, but it was hot, and I had to take photos, so Ben did all the work for me!!  I got to be the supervisor!!

After getting the placement just right, Ben dug the holes, and we placed the flowers with some more Plant Food.

Then we played around with mulch!!  I love the look of red, and I also love black mulch.  I had no idea what color I wanted, so we went the easy route.  We mixed them!!

I still might change things around, but that's the beauty of gardening.  There is no right way, and you can change and make things look however your heart desires!!

When I shop for flowers, I buy for their pretty factor!!  How did we do?
