You’re not afraid of the dark….are you?
Find out when you plunge into the screaming blackness of Dr. Von Dark’s Tunnel of Terror. The Tunnel of Terror is the first water ride of its kind in New England. You’ll sit face-to-face in a 2-person tube then descend into a twisting 40-foot plunge through a totally enclosed, totally dark tunnel. Along the way, a wicked tornado funnel will leave your head spinning and your fears in your throat! A work of evil genius, it’s a 300 foot trip into the dark side of thrills.
That is just one of many fun water slides at Water Country!! We had the pleasure of visiting there this summer.
The boys had a blast!!! Ben Jr had only been to one other water park and he was only 2. I don't think he remembers!!!
We started our fun with the kids play areas. The areas were more designed for kids Ben's age (6) then for Doug's (3) but both boys had fun!!
Both boys wanted to ride the new water slides, like The Tunnel Of Terror, but neither one of them hit the height requirement. I can understand Doug, but Ben is 45". I would have thought he could ride, as long as an adult was with him, but sadly no.
Ben Sr and I did go on the slides pictured behind the family. We had a lot of fun!!
Of course you can't go to a park without some sort of junk food. We picked Fried Dough!!
When you enter the park you can either take a left or a right. We took a left and never actually made it to the right side. Look at what we missed out on. The lazy man river and wave pool look pretty cool huh!! We are hoping to hit those next year!!
We had a lot of fun. Like I said before, Water Country is geared more towards big kids. If you have a toddler, they are not really going to have much to do. Anyone 10 and over will have a blast!!
Water Country opens late May and stays open till early September.
**All opinions expressed are 100% my own. I was not compensated for this post. I was given tickets to review the park.**
