Oh my gosh, yes! I stood in the hallway looking in the window of her room and bawled my eyes out! Then I did it with my other kids, too!

I did cry my first day of school it was scary being away from my momma
My daughter, I was sad, but she was ready to go. But my son, the baby,it liked to have killed me, he was hanging on for dear life around my legs not wanting to go. In fact, that didn't change through school, never did like school:)

Tammilee
Yep, I cried but not until after I dropped him off and took his first day of school picture :)
I don't have children, but I'm sure I would have cried. I do have lots of nephews and nieces (school age).

jalyssa9820003 at yahoo dot com
I never thought I would. I didn't see the reason till it happened. I didn't get to say goodbye to him that day, and then they sent him on the bus when I was there to pick him up. It was a bummy day for me :(

I cried the fist day my first born son went to preschool but not the first day of kindergarten. By then we were both ready. lol
After taking my Son to his first day of Kindergarten and coming home, I did cry. I sat and watched a video of him as a baby and realized those times were gone and my baby was growing up.
I cannot believe he graduates this coming school year.
dod@rogers.com
I was blinking back the tears...don't think I actually cried.
No, because I lived right across the street from the school & could watch him from my kitchen window @ recess! & I still had one at home that kept me pretty busy.
I cried when he left for collage & when the other left for the Air Force.

Yep, like a big blubbering baby!

I cried like a baby and did so for about the first week.
I cried when both of my babies started school. But I cried as I was leaving so they wouldn't see me. They were so very excited, and I didn't want to ruin it for them. I still get lonely at home without them though.
I am trying to win this for my sister. Trying to buy school supplies for her son is hard especially when she's a single parent. Hopefully I can when it for her.

No tears for Kindergarten. The only time I cried was when my oldest went to preschool. On his first day he screamed and cried and pleaded... the hardest thing EVER to leave! Luckily his teacher was a life-long friend of our family!! :)
hiwendyhi at yahoo dot com
Happi Shopr - My girls were already tweens when they came into my life, but I'm sure I would cry if I had a little starting school. This pack would be great for my niece who will indeed cry when her little starts kindergarten this year. :D trinitygsd at yahoo dto omc
It's been such a slow transition for us that I haven't cried, I don't think -- my daughter is seven and this is the first year she'll go to school full-time.
I haven't sent mine to school yet - they're still too young.
I totally cried! I was also the last parent standing there, after everyone else had gone. Even my husband took our two younger children to the car and I'm sure the teachers were wondering when I'd leave, lol.

I cried like a baby ... my heart felt broken. My boys are in college now and I still cried when they left for their dorms!
dahbou at gmail dot com
Both my boys didn't cry the 1st day @ school. I did!!!
My youngest is going to school in Flordia and we are driving him from New Mexico. Now that is going to be hard for me, even harder than the 1st day @ school.
heartnsoulcooking[at]gmail[dot]com
I cried my heart out when my first went, and with each child since (6 in all). I thought I was doing so well and getting used to this, but now have my last two going into middle school and high school. blows my mind!

On my now 14-year-old son's first day of preschool, he told me to go home! "you can come back later, mom". Yeah, I cried a little.
High school this year. Wow!
ABSOLUTELY!!! I must admit that I cry every year on the first day of school! I just get so emotional seeing my kids start a new grade!
I didnt think I would, and didnt until...I was fussing over him, thinking he would get upset, when he looked at me and said, "Mom, can I just go in now?" I told him yes, he hugged me and walked away...I walked three blocks home bawling all the way!
I cried with both of my older 2 and next year I'm sending my last babies (twins) off to kindergarten and it makes me want to cry now!
I cried like a baby for both of my kids.

i have 5 kids and for some reason my 3rd child was the hardest to watch go. He was so close to me and I knew I'd miss him so much. He is 12 now and boy I'm glad school is back in :)
I have 3 kids and yes I cried for all three, My middle child was the worst because I had just had my youngest and going through the momma blues and I just sobbed like a bog ole baby.
ericka082 AT gmail DOT com
Neither of my children cried on their first day of preschool, but I think my son might cry on his upcoming first day of kindergarten.
