We have been lucky and they have all missed our town, but some of the other towns near us have not been so lucky.

It is really scary what is going on.

This is tragic! I'm curious about the first picture though...97 MPH is pretty fast in a 30.
I think the wind and debry flying around set it off wrong! At least i hope someone wasn't driving that fast.
Stay Safe Sarah! I live in the Midwest and we've had devestating tornados hit around us twice in May!
Scary! I live in an earthquake zone and supposedly the big one is overdue by like 20 years. But we have been lucky. I can't imagine having to deal with tornados or hurricanes year, after year, when everyone has already lost so much. Crossing my fingers that you will be okay!

I am glad to hear you are okay. We had one near here yesterday. This is going to be a tough summer, weatherwise.
