Magic Hat Brewery Review

The Magic Hat Brewery has been putting a performance into every bottle of beer since 1994. Today, the South Burlington, VT-based brewery is cranking out 400 bottles of beer every minute and the brewing process, in all its strange and satisfying glory, has never been more accessible.

The Magic Hat Artifactory, the nerve center of it all, is located in South Burlington, VT, and is ready to take your taste buds to places you never knew existed! The Growler Bar is a sight to behold with 30 taps a flowin' and a constantly changing line-up of Magic Hat's best beers, including all our year-round offerings, the current seasonal and even some experimental brews! Come take in the mysterious ambience created by the best tasting beer on the planet!

Recently, my Brother and I made a trip up to the Magic Hat Brewery, in So.Burlington Vt.

I am not a beer drinker, but Jimmy is, and when he heard I wanted to review the Brewery, he volunteered to be my beer drinker for the day. A hard job, I know!!!

The brewery offers a walking tour to see how everything works. It was very entertaining to read the signs posted, and see the beer flying by!!

A practical name for the label machine!!!

After we finished the walking tour, Jimmy came to the best part of his day, the beer sampling!!

Magic Hat had 6 different beers on tap, and you could have as many samples as you want!!

Jimmy was in heaven. He sampled them all.

His favorite was the #9.

#9 — Not Quite Pale Ale

A beer cloaked in secrecy. An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A sort of dry, crisp, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there's never been anything else quite like it.

TYPE: Not Quite Pale Ale
YEAST: English Ale
HOPS: Cascade, Apollo
MALTS: Pale, Crystal
ABV: 5.1
GRAVITY: 11.80 Plato
BITTERNESS: 20
SRM: 9.0
AVAILABILITY: Year Round

I of course could not go to a brewery with out bringing Ben home a growler. I got him Circus Boy because I liked the name!!!

Magic Hat also has a fun gift shop with every present you could ever imagine. I got both the boys some mardi gra beads!!!

If you would like to visit a fun brewery with a great atmosphere, give Magic Hat a try.

**All opinions expressed are 100% my own, and my Brothers!! I was not compensated for this post.**
