Her relationship with Lysander has grown as well. They are falling in love, and learning to trust and grow with each other.
Alyssa still has horrible dreams about Santino, and fears he will attack again.
When their worst fears come true, and Alyssa is taken to help create a stronger race, she is forced to bring in her Human friend Fallon.
Again, there is a lot of action, suspense, and humor in this book.
Katie leaves the end wide open for another book. I can't wait for the next one!!
