Googelize Your Life Book Review

Does life seem like it doesn't give you enough time to do the
things you need to? Are you running in different directions? Trying to get each task done
before the end of the day? If this sound like you, then Jeff VanDrimmelen, author of
Google'lize Your Life may have the answers to help you manage your tasks and have
more time to do the things in your life that mean the most. Jeff will help you discover
how to maximize the moments you have at home, school, work and during your free
time.

Jeff VanDrimmelen has found a system that helps technology work for you- not against
you. Google'lize Your Life is about taking control by using Google tools, like Google
tasks, Gmail and Google calendar, for better time management. Jeff teaches you how to
spend just thirty minutes a day in your email, instead of hours, digging through all of the
unnecessary spam that fills up your inbox. Jeff describes his system as a "modern day
technology fusion of David Allen's "Getting Things Done" (GTD) and a little bit of good
old-fashioned Steven Covey." By using these tools from Google, it will give you more
free time to do the things that are most important to you.

Google'lize Your Life's main focus is using technology and organization in order to save
some of those brain cycles we too often waste. Whether you need operating efficiencies
for your email, calendar and or tasks, Google'lize is a premier life system that helps
people become more productive. Improve your quality of life by investing in a business
productivity tool that helps you get your life back through the power of technology

About the author:

Jeff VanDrimmelen is a national productivity expert and has been a speaker and presenter
from California to North Carolina to New York for organizations such as Educase, The
Korean Society of America, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and many
other local and international groups. He is a teacher at heart and has taught at the high
school and collegiate level and holds a MA and MBA. He conducts productivity and
technology training workshops for individuals and businesses around the world for his
company MyTechTrainers (http://mytechtrainers.com/).

I am a pretty fast learner. If I set my mind to something, I will secede (most of the time!! lol)

Jeff's book is a great how to tool for those of us still learning the fast pace world of computers!!!

I know enough to get me through the day to day of my job, but Jeff actually breaks things down and shows you how to just use google to make your life a lot less complicated.

He tells you how to use programs like Gmail, Google Docs, Google Forms and Spreadsheets to best use your time and not waste it on trivial things.

A lot of the tools Jeff talks about, I didn't even know existed. I am now a little more proficient with my email, and task lists.

This is a great book to keep at your desk for good reference points.
