Nicely compact, the Honeywell HZ-2200 mini tower heater still provides a wealth of warmth for chilly rooms. Its innovatively designed, 360-degree Surround Heat heater fan makes it a great choice for placing in the middle of the room to help keep everyone comfortable. As I have mentioned before, we have an old house!!
Over the last three years we have gotten a new furnace, new windows, and have insulated alot!!
Of course it is never enough with this house!!
Big Ben and I love to sleep with the temperature cool. We have fans going all year, and we turn the heat way down at night.
Now that we have two kids, we can't keep the house at arctic temperatures anymore.
Two years ago, we used a small space heater in Ben Jr's room so we could turn the house down low. The heater worked well, but jacked our electric bill through the roof.
Last year, because Doug was in our room, we had to keep the heat up, and we died all winter!!
This year, Doug is in Ben's room (while his is being built) so we are excited to turn the heat down again.
Off and on for the last two weeks (depending on the temp outside) we have used the 360* heater in the boys room.
It remains nice and toasty warm!!
We turn the heater on high about a half hour before they go to bed. Then we turn it down to the lowest setting. The heater will kick on if the temp drops in the room. This prevents the room from getting too warm!!
This is a great heater for smaller rooms (like bedrooms)
