VAPOR WATER BOTTLE REVIEW AND ~~GIVEAWAY~~

When I heard about the Vapur Water Bottle, I had to have one!!
As an avid Disney World Fan, I try to go once a year with the Hubby and Kids!!
For anyone who lives in Florida, or has been to Disney World, a water bottle is a necessity, and buying them in the parks is pricey ($2 or more a bottle)
Usually we carry a bottle with us, and refill as we go, but bottles can be bulky and annoying.
The Vapur Bottle is soooooo much different and soooooo much better!!!

The Vapur Bottle is made from Recycled Paperboard. It feels like a very thin plastic, like you would get in a child's blow up beach toy.
When not full, the bottle is paper thin and can be rolled to fit in any tiny place, like a fanny pack or pocket!!
It also comes with a very convenient clip, to hang from a belt loop or purse.

I filled the bottle with water and when it was full, it stood on the table like a regular bottle.

It is also dishwasher safe and freezable. I have been freezing it at night, and then bringing it frozen to work with me in the mail truck. It keeps my water nice and cold through out most of the day.

"Our Idea is Simple. Our Task is Great.

At Vapur, we believe that clean tap water is the best drinking water for you, your community and the planet (learn why). So we have set out to make tap water infinitely portable, universally available and ethically sustainable. We hope you find Vapur so darn convenient that you'll swear off bottled water forever!

Portability Through Design.
Refillable water bottles are a great way to help fight the global water and environmental crisis. But let's face it, carrying bulky water bottles around everyday can be a pain, especially when empty. So we designed the Vapur flexible bottle to "fold-and-go"— which means it can be rolled, folded or flattened when empty—making it the most portable and convenient water bottle on the planet. We hope this simple idea will help put an end to the use of bottled water.

Drink Responsibly. Do good.

Water is the source of all life. It is not a commodity to be bought and sold for profit. Vapur is committed to raising awareness of the global water crisis and to empowering people to make a difference through their own purposeful drinking choices. We have joined the 1% For The Planet program through which we give a portion of all Vapur sales to water-related environmental causes. And we are in the process of working with local communities to make clean tap water more readily available than ever."

Upstate New York's tap water is of such good quality that the EPA does not require the city to filter it.

I learned that it takes 17 million barrels of oil each year to make water bottles for the U.S. market. That would be enough oil to fuel 1.3 million cars for a year. 37,800 18-wheelers deliver bottled water around the country every week. Manufacturing and filling the plastic water bottles, on average wastes 30-40% of the water involved in the process. Only 60-70% of the water ends up in the bottles on supermarket shelves. This is partly because the bottle-making machines are cooled by water. Most water bottles are made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which is a polymer derived from oil. Only 23% of water bottles are recycled- 38 billion are land filled each year.
