I was completely in awe when I went to Walmart and saw such a large assortment. It actually took me 20 minutes to decide what I wanted!!
I really liked the lime green color, so I got a roll of that, and being a HUGE Disney fan, I also had to get Mickey Mouse!!
I had two fun art projects in my head when shopping, that would be great for Back To School.
The first project was covering a book. When I was in High School (oh so many years ago) every school book we were given needed to be covered to protect it from wear. There was not any fancy products out there, so we used brown paper bags!! I did doodle on them throughout the year which made them look a little better!!
Now you can get almost any picture cover, or you can do what we did which is very simple!!
I wrapped a book in brown paper (ah memories) and then covered it with green Duck Tape® and added some really cute Mickey's!! Not only does the book look awesome, but it is now more sturdy and safe from damage!!
The second project is something that is very practical in this house. My boys are very rough with their backpacks. Each year one of the straps ALWAYS rips or breaks!! I figured why not try to prevent that and make them sturdier and cool!!
