With my many health problems, I have a hard time eating certain foods.

There is not a whole lot I can have, and sugar is a big no no.  I am allowed to have sugar substitutes, but they taste gross to me.

When I was asked to review Nectresse, I said ok, but I was leery that it would have that aspartame taste that most of the non sugars have.

I was pleasantly surprised that it was really good.  It is very sweet, but it tastes like real sugar with no nasty after taste.

I tried it in just a regular old cup of tea, and then Ben made me a delicious fruit smoothie!!

There are a lot of great things you can add to the smoothie.  Ben has even added cabbage and carrots before!! 

It was a very simple mix of fruits, ice and Nectresse but it tasted delicious and was good for you!!  We just blended it all together in our new VitaMix! 

If you don't have a Vitamix, a traditional blender should work.  I just wouldn't use ice!!

I am a big fan of NYC.  Ben and I love to go.  There is always something to see and do.  I also love the fact that you can walk almost anywhere.  Very rarely do I take a cab (I am cheap!!)  I rather walk.  That way I can burn off all of those Gyros I eat!!!  $5 for a complete meal from the street vendors.  Can't beat that!!!

Another thing we love is the shopping!!  Times Square is a big hit.  They have a really large Disney Store.  Even being New York and Disney, the prices aren't that bad, and they always have some things on clearance at unbeatable prices!!!

When we go to NYC again (sometime in December to see the xmas lights) one of the places we are going to hit is the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.  We have meant to stop there each time we are in the city, but we haven't had a chance!!

The first thing I noticed was how great the products smelled!!  I am horrible with descriptions of smells, but Ben describes it as smelling like eucalyptus!! Ben (after much belly aching) decided to do the beauty treatment with me!! I started Ben’s beauty treatment by putting the head band on him.  He looked so cute!!  I have to say the headband was a big plus for me.  I have long bangs, and they are always in the way!!  With Ben, it wasn’t 100% needed!!

The one thing that was very confusing for us was that we had no clue what order we were supposed to use the products in.  There were no easy numbers (like #1 first, #2 second etc.) so we went by how the products were listed on the box.  I am not sure if that was right, but that was how we did it for the week. The first product was the Skin Prep.  This was a nice smooth easy to use product.  Smelt good, and didn’t burn!!! The second product we used was the Facial Scrub.  The scrub has the gritty feeling (like sand) to help really clean out the pores.  It hurt at first, but it did make our skin feel much better!! The third product we used was the Moisture Regenerative Cream.  Another smooth, easy to apply cream, which felt great, especially after the scrub. Now here was the tricky part.  We skipped the fourth and fifth products listed, because those really seemed to need to be applied after all was said and done.  So we went for the Clay Mask. The mask hardened pretty quickly, and felt like it was pinching the skin to make it more taunt.  At least I hope so!!  After 10 minutes of wearing, we washed it off!! Our last two steps were to use the Face Serum, and the Eye Cream.  Both felt great going on, and rubbed in easily. After 6 days of using the products, our skin does look and feel much better.  Neither one of us have any blemishes, and no black heads!! 

Isn't my Hubby cute, and a good sport!!! It’s hard for me to know if it has helped with aging, but our skin does look much younger than it did.  We both work outside a lot, so we have blotches from the sun.  They seem to have faded quite a bit!! I checked the site out further, as if I was learning to become a teacher. Unfortunately, I do not qualify for their program because I live in Massachusetts.

What was nice though, was that they gave me a listing of other schools that could help me, if I choose to become a teacher.

They also gave me all sorts of information about how a teaching program works, and what I would look forward to doing.

I have posted about this site before. I really do think it is a great resource for anyone looking to persue a teaching degree.

They even give you a listing of the tests you would need to take, and all the pre-requisite courses.

My Mother in law, Aunt in law, and Cousin in law are all teachers. It is a very tough job, and I commend them and all teachers all the time. I couldn't do what they do.

Especially my Mother in law. She was a special education teacher. She had to have alot of patience.
