Lalaloopsy Girls Cake Fashion Doll Review And ~~Giveaway~~

**All opinions expressed are 100% my own.  I was not compensated for this post.  I was given product for review purposes.**

The Lalaloopsy Girls are taking a new class at L.A.L.A. Prep - Cake Fashion Decorating 101. Now you can decorate Candle Slice O' Cake's dress, hair, and shoes with frosting and glitter, just like a cake!
Create your own designs and decorate her over and over again!
Product Features:
• Decorate the Lalaloopsy Girls Cake Fashion dolls dress, shoes, hair and accessories, just like a real cake!
• Includes a parasol umbrella and cupcake purse
• The parasol is also a frosting bag
• Use the cupcake purse to make different shapes from "fondant"
• Create endless designs!
• Ages: 5-105 years

I am loving the chance to get to play with girls toys.  I don't get to do that very often!!

The Lalaloopsy Cake Fashion Doll is an arts and craft girls dream!!  Each doll comes with two dresses to decorate, along with the dolls hair!!

Her purse is designed to make fun shapes on her outfit, and you get her parasol which is used to "frost" on your designs!!

With my boys recently getting more involved with decorating, I thought this would be a great tool!!

They had a lot of fun making different designs on the dresses.  After the designs dried, we found that some would fall off pretty easily, and only having one tip for the two frosting tools made things difficult as well.

Over all, they really enjoyed trying out all the decoration tools, and we are working on creating a recipe for more frosting!!

The Lalaloopsy Cake Fashion Doll is listed as being for girls 3 and older, and I agree fully.  The tip for the frosting is a little small and could be a choking hazard.

Lalaloopsy also has a Fancy Frost N' Glaze doll to complete your collection!!

If you have a little Lalaloopsy fan on your shopping list this year, this would make a great gift!!

Would you like to win one??  I am very fortunate to give one lucky reader their own Lalaloopsy Cake Fashion Doll like the one I got.

When I was a kid, one of those toys that I always wanted, but never got, was an oven.  How cool is it to get to bake your own treats when you are a kid??

Now that I am an adult, the big people oven is nice, but I still want to be a kid, and get my kid size oven!!  Now I have one!!

The Lalaloopsy oven comes complete with easy to follow directions, all the utensils and tools you need, and comes with cake mix and cookie dough.

The kids couldn't wait to play with the oven, but I got to play with it first!!

The mixes are really simple to make.  They only require water.  The measuring spoons have the names of the measurements on them for easy use.  The only thing I wished the oven set came with was a mixing bowl or two.

We started by making our cake.  As I said, all we had to do was add water to the mix.

The cake took about 15 minutes in the oven to cook.  I was very impressed with how bouncy it was, and how delicious it was.  I did not expect something that was just powder a couple minutes ago could taste as good as it did!!

We had a slight mishap with the frosting that came with the cake (we added a little too much water, and after adding powdered sugar, it looked kind of icky,) so we just decorated the cake with the sprinkles.

I still think it came out nice!!  My boys thought the cake was a little small for the 6 people who were here testing it out, but if this was just for one person, I would estimate that the cake is about the size of a standard cupcake.  So plenty for any young child!!

The cookies we had another small problem with.  The mold is a little tiny, and no matter what we did, we could not get the cookies to come out.  So instead we made one big cookie, and divided it to share.  The cookie was very yummy too!!

Over all I am very impressed with this oven.  It was hot enough on the inside to cook the food properly, but it never got very hot on the outside.  Kids will not get burnt while using it, and the oven doorways to insert and remove the food are small enough where little hands can not get into it.

With the holidays right around the corner, this would make a great gift for those little chefs (or big ones like me!!) on your Christmas list!!

How would you like to win one??  I am very lucky to be able to give one lucky reader their very own Lalaloopsy Oven!!

Enter below using the rafflecopter, and good luck!!

I am on a no carb diet.  There are a lot of restrictions for what I can and can not eat.  One food item that the doctor recommends to eat a lot of is eggs.

My all time favorite way to eat eggs is to devil them!!

I went to my local Big Y to pick up some Davidson's eggs.  Their eggs were fresh, and looked perfect!!  Each egg was the whitest I have seen, and they were all perfectly proportioned.

When I got home, Ben and I started our egg adventure with a beautiful over easy.  It looks as good as it tastes!!

We then made some deviled eggs.  I make mine with not only mayonnaise, but with dill as well.  It adds a delicious pop of flavor!!

Another way I love to use eggs is in my potato salad.  I use red skin potatoes, dill, mayo, eggs and bacon!!  It is absolutely delicious.  I wish I had some now!!

Davidson's eggs are perfect to use how ever you see fit!!  Here are some more recipes you can check out to make your own perfect egg dish!!
