DELIVERY MAN releases in theaters on November 22nd!

When I found out that I was going to get to meet Vince Vaughn, I had one thought in my head.  Is he really that tall??  When ever I see him on TV he towers over everyone else.

I can now honestly tell you that yes he is that tall!!!  He is also very friendly, and funny in real life!!

We got to sit on the streets of New York watching Vince and Cobie Smulders act out a scene (it is killing me that I can't tell you which one yet!!)

After a little while, Vince came over and shook all of our hands and answered our questions!!  Mitch from Gay NYC Dad and I could literally reach out and touch him the whole time (all though we restrained ourselves!!)

Vince was very forthcoming in talking about his family.  At the time he had his 2 year old daughter, and he just found out his wife was expecting baby #2.

"My wife worked forever, then we had a baby.  We were fortunate enough that she could stay home with her.  She still has passions and things and stuff she wants to do, but our baby’s just turning two."

What did you like most about this script?

"I love the concept, and I think being a new dad, I was really right for it.  When David was younger, he kind of donates a lot to a sperm bank.  As sort of a young guy, he thinks oh I can make a couple bucks, but he doesn't really think of the consequences at that age.  And now all these years later it’s like four to five hundred kids want to meet him.  They've overused his donations, if you will.  So the concept in itself is funny."

What kind of research did you do for this role?

"I just looked up a lot of stuff and information about things.  I really tapped in a lot to what I was going through.  All the wonder and worry about my baby.  I really just played and acted this role."

One of our last questions to Vince was how has it been filming in New York?  His response- "It’s so incredible being here."  My sentiments exactly!!!

Make sure you check out Delivery Man in theaters November 22nd!!!
