Driving To Florida With Two Kids Project Day Seven

Day seven was kind of sad. It was our last day in Disney World. The end of vacations are always good and bad. You really don't want to go home, but then again you miss it (especially your puppy!!!)

We started our day by hitting EPCOT. This is our least favorite park. It is geared more towards adults. When the boys are older, they may like it more.

Coca-Cola has a cute building where you can try sodas from all around the world. The boys do not drink soda very often, but we thought they would get a kick out of this.

All of us agree that the soda from Japan was the best, and the worst was from Israel. Japan was more like a Kool-aid, and Israel was very bitter.

After drinking our fill, we then went to watch Turtle Talk with Crush. If you have seen Finding Nemo, then you know Crush is the daddy Turtle!! The show is interactive, so Crush will have specific people in the audience ask him questions. It is really cute.

For all of us who remember and lived through the 80's, Disney does have a surprise for you. They brought back Capt EO. I am more then old enough to remember Michael Jackson from the 80's, but I didn't go to Disney for the first time until 2002. I had never seen the show, and it made Ben Sr happy to see it again. I should have known what I was getting into when there was no line!!! LOL

Here is just a glimpse at what I and the kids had to endure! Needless to say, they did not appreciate Michael Jackson in his prime. I doubt they even know who he is!!!

That pretty much ended our day at EPCOT, so we went back to Magic Kingdom to ride Pirates as much as possible!! I like to stick with rides that all of us can go on. Poor Doug is just a little short for most of the big rides.

We were very excited that for the first time Doug did get to ride in the Grand Prix!! He isn't big enough to go by himself, but he can drive (not very well I might add!!) I hit the pedal, and he steered. It was a good thing I had control of the gas pedal, Doug kept turning us very sharply to the left, then the right. I actually was a little motion sick after that ride!!

The picture of the Ben's below is blurry as a result of Doug's skillful driving techniques!!!

Once we got tired, we started to head back to our hotel. On the way, I remembered that I promised my Husband and Ashley that they could go on the Sling Shot ride. This ride is exactly that, a sling shot. It propels you in the air, and then lets you bounce around a while. With my stomach issues, and high blood pressure, I am not nuts enough to go on this.

Ben really enjoyed himself. Ashley was a little different. If you watch the video below, please be careful with the volume. Ashley says some not so nice words.

The funniest thing about Ashley and her screaming like a little girl was that right before these two went on, a couple of 10 year old's went on, and they didn't scream once!!!

After the ride, we got more Ci'Ci's pizza (yummy and cheap) and went back to our hotel.

For our last night, we upgraded to a kids suite. This is really cute. There is a separate closed off area that is like a bunk house. There are bunk beds, a single bed, TV and an Xbox for the kids. We put the boys in the bunk beds, and Ashley in there as well!!!

Again a big thank you to our wonderful sponsors- Pirate Brands, Starbucks, Aldi's and Sonic!!

**All opinions expressed are 100% my own. I am not compensated for taking this trip. I do have some companies that have donated products to help make the trip more fun!!**
