Air Protect Tour Stops in Agawam for Child Passenger Safety Event and National Night Out
Safety 1st, Allstate Insurance Company, and Safe Kids of Western MA join Agawam Police Department for free car seat inspections, live music, and giveaways
WHAT: Dorel Juvenile, a segment of Dorel Industries (TSX: DII.B, DII.A), and the world’s largest juvenile products manufacturer announced Safety 1st and Allstate Insurance Company are taking the “On the Road with Air Protect Tour” to Agawam, MA and will join the Agawam police department for National Night Out. Families can participate in an interactive and entertaining community event to help protect the city’s children and enhance the relationship between law enforcement and neighbors.
Event will include:
**Child safety seat checks by Safe Kids Worldwide Western Massachusetts car seat technicians
**A giant inflatable tunnel for attendees to walk through to receive:
o Information on Safety 1st car seats featuring Air ProtectTM Technology
o Demos of the latest Safety 1st car seats
o Photo opportunity for kids on an oversized (8 ft.) car seat
**Safety kits from Allstate
**Information booths and giveaways
**Demonstration by the Agawam Fire Department with the Jaws of Life and a K-9 demonstration
**Live music by Corey & The Knightsmen
**Balloon sculpting
Safety 1st and Allstate Insurance Company are also encouraging parents to bring unwanted, expired or damaged car seats to be properly recycled by Dorel Juvenile’s manufacturing plant. A special Safety 1 gift will be given to those who bring in old seats.
