There are only 16 days till Christmas.  Have you started shopping??  Have you started decorating??  Have you started thinking about food??  Are you entertaining guests this year??

In my case I have started shopping (not finished,) almost done decorating, and I have thought a little about food.  For Christmas, my family comes over in the morning to watch the boys open their Santa presents, and then they are here all day.  We have breakfast to prepare, and an early dinner.

I try to use a different Christmas recipe each year for each meal.  We can have cereal any day.  Last year we had potato pancakes.  This year I think we will try crepes!!

For dinner, we will have turkey, because that is a tradition!!  I visited my local Price Chopper last week to grocery shop and I picked up a turkey for dinner, and one for Christmas for only .48 cents a pound!!  I love great deals!!  Even though we had turkey on Thanksgiving, we didn't make it, so there was no left overs.  I also picked up some great products to make our dinner complete.

I cooked the Turkey, made garlic mashed potatoes, honey glazed carrots, and we had black olives.  Boy was it yummy!!

For dessert we had peanut butter cookie bars.  Oh these were yummy too!!

OK, I got off track!!  Back to holiday planning.  As I said, my family will be here all day, and there will be a couple hours between breakfast, and dinner.  No one is going to want a heavy meal, so I am trying to plan snack type items for people to munch on.

With Price Chopper, they will make things very easy for me with their deli platters.  They are perfect for light lunch snacks, and they look great!!  This is the All in One Platter that I am going to get.  Doesn't that look great!!

I am also going to get my tables centerpiece as well.  This is what I ordered.  It's called the Warmth of the Holiday.

I feel much better that I have the decorating done, and the food all planned (thanks to Price Chopper.)  Now all I have to do is wrap.  Any volunteers to help!!

Happy Holidays!!
