Do you know how much money you could save by having breakfast at home?
It’s time to re-think your breakfast routine! Wake up and take the “Breakfast at Home Savings Challenge” to see just how much time and money you could save during the week by shopping and eating breakfast at home.
Beginning on June 15th, take advantage of great savings in-store and online on some of your family's favorite General Mills breakfast items like Honey Nut Cheerios®, Lucky Charms® and Cinnamon Toast Crunch® cereals! Simply select the coupons you want and print them directly from your printer. It’s that simple! Visit EveryDaySaver.com/breakfastathome for details!
I am all for saving money. I do not like spending more then I have too. One of the ways I save besides coupons is by eating almost all of our meals at home.
It's a very simple equation. For the four of us to go out to eat (even at a fast food restaurant) for breakfast, we are looking at a bill of at least $20. If we stay home and have cereal with milk and even fresh fruit, the total is around $6. That includes a gallon of milk, box of cereal and a pint of berries. At the bare minimum that is a $14 savings!!!
Think about how much you could save if you just ate breakfast at home every day. I even eat breakfast "at home" when we are on vacation. When we go to Disney World, we buy milk and cereal, and have breakfast in our hotel room every day before we hit the parks. It saves a ton of money!!!
I am very happy to see that General Mills has started a challenge to get people to consider their spending, and commit to try to save!! I hope each and everyone of you sits down and does the math to see how much you could save too!!
Now thanks to General Mills and MyBlogSpark, I have a terrific giveaway for you.
How would you like to win a prize pack that includes-
$25 gift card (to get your breakfast needs!!)
One box of Lucky Charms®
One box of Honey Nut Cheerios®

i'd say like 15 a month. we don't go out for breakfast much
I would save up to $50 a month by eating at home
200 a month.
But I already do this as We do not eat breakfast out.
Depending on where we went and what we ordered but it would be a lot because I use my coupons and get them doubled on sales so I can buy a box of cereal for near nothing
We usually eat at home but we could save 20$ some months.
I save a ton because we never eat breakfast out.
we go through about 3-4 a month so around $15-$20.
We could save about $15 a week.
Thanks!
Jayme
I think we could save about $10 a day if we just ate breakfast at home each morning.
maybe $25 a month - we usually do eat at home
I only eat breakfast at home and I figure I save about $60 per month.

We always eat breakfast at home during weekdays, but not weekends. So if we stay at home on weekends, we could probably save $50 .
We eat breakfast at home most days but if we ate out we would spend about $15 a day so eating at home saves a lot.

I think I could save about $20
I really have no idea because we always eat at home--except once in a while on vacation, but I imagine it would be quite a bit.
We eat breakfast at home as long as we're not traveling. But someone who stopped off and got a breakfast sandwich and coffee every weekday could probably save over $1000 a year!
We dont really eat out for breakfast but sometimes cereal is eaten for after school snacks or bedtime snacks.
We already do eat breakfast at home :) Liza C.

I figured out what we typically eat each week with how much it would cost when eating out and took out what it cost for those items. CRAZY! We save roughly 32 a week just by eating at home. Not to mention the gas it would take to go out.
i'd say 200/yr

We don't eat out that often for breakfast, but even if we did say once a month, it would save us somewhere between $200 and $300
