Last Minute Shopping Is Less Painful With MasterCard Market Place #FinishMyList

We have all been there. The week before Christmas, running around to find those last minute gifts.

I am notorious for doing this.  With two full time jobs last year, I have no clue how I did any shopping.  This year things are a little better because I only have one full and a half time job (yes it is more then a full time job!!)

I have done a ton of my shopping online.  It is so much easier.  With work, and the kids, finding time to go shopping is hard enough.  Trying to buy certain items with kids standing next to you is just not practical!!

Recently I was introduced to MasterCard's Market Place.  This is a great site to get local deals.  I wanted to buy my family presents that are practical this year, so a lot of items have been things like pants, shirts, and even food.

I was very happy when I saw the Market Place offer a discount on the Four Leaf Clover Restaurant (right down the street from me.)  They have terrific food, and the gift certs will make a great gift for my parents.

Another item that I just had to buy was a discount on cookies.  OK, so I didn't have to buy them, but who doesn't want cookies!!

I got a $20 gift card for $10 to Tates Bake Shop.  Their specialty flat cookies look delicious!!

Ordering through the Market Place was very simple.  I went to the site, typed in my zip code to see all the deals in my area, picked what I wanted, and then I was on my way to ordering.

With this deal, I was sent to another site to place the order.  This was a very simple process.  I entered my credit card number, placed the order, and with in a couple minutes I received the certificate.

What I like the best about the Market Place is that you get new deals everyday, and when you place an order, MasterCard will donate to Stand Up To Cancer.  They have already hit well over $1,400,000 to be donated!!

Oh and of course you are wondering what I got with my gift cert right?  Well, I bought the boys some cookies of course, and I bought my Mom a new cook book.  Check out the price.  Pretty cool huh!!

There are lots of great deals to be had, and there is still time to get items before Christmas!!  Don't wait too long though!!

Keep up with the latest information from MasterCard by following them on Facebook and Twitter.
