Tavern Direct Gourmet Marinades Review

Founded in 2007, Tavern Direct is a philanthropic venture that is dedicated to raising funds for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through sales of Tavern on the Green branded products. These all-natural, exclusive products of high quality allow customers to experience the gourmet flavors and the culinary experience of New York City’s famous restaurant. In 2009, Tavern Direct introduced six new ethnic flavors to its line. As the brand continues to expand, the company hopes to venture into producing other similar and compatible foods, such as spreads, salad dressings, jams & jellies and toppings. We also have Gluten Free Options- message us, once approved, if you desire to review Gluten Free alternatives.

Mission: Through innovative marketing, Tavern Direct will generate resources to empower kids to be free from abuse and exploitation

Ben and I love to cook.  We don't get to do it as much as we would like, but we love it!!!

Ben is always experimenting with new foods and creative ways to make them.  He was sooooo excited when I showed him the Tavern Direct Sauces I got to review!!

We started our fun with the 1870 Steak Sauce.

We figured that sense we were using a prestigious marinade, that we would use a good cut of meat.  We bought Fillet Mignon

We cooked the steak on the stove for a little while to brown it, and then I oven baked it with the sauce.  Oh my was that really good!!!

A couple days later we tried the Golden Ginger Teriyaki!!

We made Chicken Shish Ka Bobs.  Another absolutely delicious dish.  Grilling the chicken and veggies with the teriyaki was yummy!!  It had just the right amount of sweet and sour to it.

Last but not least we made baked Halibut with the Cabernet & Grilled Garlic Sauce.

Ben is not a big fish eater, but he loves it with this sauce.  For me, I thought the sauce was a little too strong.  I liked it, but not as much as the others.  I am not a big vinegar person, and with this sauce to me it was too strong.

All in all, we really like the Tavern Direct Sauces, and we will be getting more.

You can also check out Tavern Direct on Facebook and Twitter.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
