Through our rapid prototyping and fast cycle innovation process, we are able to bring you solutions that make life taste better.

Ben is a HUGE coffee drinker. He pretty much only drinks coffee and water. (oh and beer on occasion!!)

One of Ben's biggest problems is that he likes to have a variety of coffees at his reach. Being the only one that usually drinks it, he will open a bag, and it will sit there getting stale.

The Friis Coffee Vault is designed to help keep coffee at it's freshest!!

The Art of Flavor
Roasting coffee beans is both science and art. Using temperature and time, the roastmaster crafts the desired aroma, flavor, and body. Whether you brew at home or buy from a store, your coffee has been roasted. The roasting process caramelizes the sugars in coffee beans and forms essential oils. These sugars and essential oils give coffee its varying flavor and aroma profiles. After roasting, multiple external factors break down and degrade the original flavor you love.

The Four Factors of Lost Flavor

The key to rich, full-flavored coffee is limiting the effects of these external forces through proper storage. Your coffee loses flavor with exposure to light, air, moisture, and carbon dioxide released after the roasting process.

The Friis Coffee Savor keeps your coffee fresh by locking in flavor while blocking out light, air and moisture. The Friis Freshness Valve vents away flavor destroying CO2 gas. When stored in a cool, dry place, your coffee stays fresh longer.

The patented Freshness Valve is the key to eliminating trapped CO gas. The valve is constructed with a unique filter that allows carbon dioxide gas to pass through without allowing oxygen or other gases back in. This one-way valve removes the trapped gas that breaks down and destroys coffee flavor over time.

All coffee is roasted, both whole bean and ground. This roasting process heats the coffee bean and caramelizes the sugars in coffee. It is this roasting process that creates the flavor degrading gas. Coffee is perishable much like fruit, milk or bread -- keeping coffee fresh is very important. Without a freshness valve coffee can not be kept fresh.

With Friis, save money and keep your coffee fresh.

The Complete Coffee Storage Solution
Keeps up to 16 oz (1 lb) (453 g) of whole bean or ground coffee fresh.

We have been using the Coffee Vault for a couple weeks now, and Ben has noticed a big difference in the taste of his coffee.

He says it still tastes like it was just opened a week later!!

It is a great money saver.

Now I don't have to worry about Ben throwing out coffee because it doesn't taste as good anymore!!

The Coffee Vault can be purchased by visiting Friis Coffee's Site.

This would make a great Fathers Day Gift!!
