The Crystal Heart Book Review

Children's author Michelle Nicole Martin announces
the release of Princess and Missy's Magical Adventures, The Crystal Heart. Martin's
upbeat story, with enchanting illustrations by internationally recognized artist Richa
Kinra, teaches children that love conquers all and that there is always a solution to a
problem.

Princess is a young poodle with a loving spirit who's "cute, chubby and short." She finds
herself homeless one day, though, after her family suddenly disappears. Not one to give
up, Princess follows her own loving heart, helps a young lady and saves children's lives,
and is ultimately awarded the Crystal Heart by Missy, the magical butterfly.

Together they continue on many enchanted adventures, rescuing others from despair and
being careful only to avoid Jaith, the Joy Stealer, and not be overcome by her wicked
plans.

"The lesson I am trying to convey," says author Martin, "is even if all seems lost, when
you walk through the pain, unexpected gifts and inner strength appear." Kinra's
illustrations embellish this message in Martin's text with their simple, aesthetic images
that quickly catch children's attention while still conveying the emotion and character of
the story.

The second children's book in this series, The Ruby Door, is scheduled to be released
soon.

This book was kind of sad!!!

It's all about a puppy named Princess.

One day as she is at the Lake with her Family, she gets separated and can't find them.

She then has to live on the streets.

Princess does learn to help people and things do get better when she meets Missy (her butterfly friend) and the others.

It's just weird that she never sees her family again!!

This is a cute story for kids between 3-7 years old.

~~All opinions expressed are 100% mine. I was not paid for this review. I did receive a copy of the book to read thanks to Bostick Communications~~
