"Your skin is your body’s largest organ; it is responsible for protecting your muscles, bones, and internal organs. Life takes a toll on this protective shield every day, with cuts and scrapes, burns, rashes, and constant exposure to the elements. For soothing relief of these skin irritations, there is Boiron’s Calendula Cream.
Calendula is made from its namesake: the Garden marigold (Calendula officinalis). A native to Southern Europe and cultivated widely throughout North America, the Garden marigold has been used for centuries as a natural healing and soothing substance. Likewise, homeopathic preparations of the flower have been used safely for generations to naturally speed the healing process.
Calendula Cream’s light texture is safe to use on delicate and sensitive skin. The cream has no medicinal smell, and no artificial colors or perfumes. You can find more information on Calendula Cream by visiting their Website, http://bit.ly/cP4Jko.
For minor burns, first run cool water on the burn and dry. For scrapes and skin irritation, first cleanse the area with mild soap, rinse and dry. Then apply a thin layer of Calendula Cream to affected area 3 times a day or as needed."
I really liked the cream. I used it on a large cut I had on my leg. It helped sooth that horrible itch that you get, and the cut did heal a little faster too.
The Calendula Cream DOES NOT have a medical smell which makes me very happy. I can't tell you how much I hate that smell. I use Bengay alot, and the smell kills me!!!
I also like how it isn't greasy. It absorbs in the skin rather quickly.
I even used it on a boo boo that my 4 yr old got on his finger. He said it made his finger feel better (all though if I put a lollipop in his mouth, his boo boo would feel better too!!)
I am very impressed with the cream, and will use it when I get another cut or burn. Hopefully not anytime soon!!!
Luckily for one of you, I was also sent a bottle to giveaway to one lucky reader!!!
