When I first received this book, I put off reading it, because I thought it was going to be on the boring side!!
Then I sat down to read it, and I was actually hooked.
Three years ago, when My Husband and I bought our house, we had to get an Adjustable Rate Mortgage.
We were self employed (for the most part) and had to have a Stated Income Loan.
Being first time homeowners, we didn't really understand the whole process.
We got a 2/28 with 90% financed.
Of course over the last year, we have really learned our mistake with an Adjustable rate, and are trying our hardest to get out of it.
After reading this book, I understand alot more about the differences between the 500 different types of mortgages, and what is best for us.
Robert Bernabe explains the whole process of how to get a loan, shop for the best price, and not get taken by Mortgage Brokers (like we did!!)
He gives the reader alot of great tips on getting your mortgage paid off asap. That way you can retire with ease!!
This is a great reference book for any adult.
I will reference this book often through out the next couple months as we refinance!!
