QUICKSAND by MARILYN RANDALL REVIEW

I have to admit, that at first I did NOT like this book. The opening chapter is all about a women named Natalie, and how her Husband Jeff, is dieing from Cancer.

The first chapter really bothered me, with its specifics of what the poor man and Natalie were going through.

Once the second chapter started, the story told was a nice love story between two people.

Natalie meets a man named Randy online, and grows to love him through their many talks.

Soon they get to meet in person, and the love truly blooms.

Unfortunately they have their share of problems. See Natalie is a 63 year old White Women, and Randy is a 53 year old Black Man.

They go through alot of racial problems involving strangers and even their friends and neighbors.

This is a heroic tale in the love sense. They overcome alot to prove their love for each other.

I didn't quite expect the ending, but it was well written.

Marilyn Randall adds alot of poetry to this book, which really adds to the feel of love.

I think she is a very gifted writer, and I really did enjoy this book.
