Oh my gosh, yes! I stood in the hallway looking in the window of her room and bawled my eyes out! Then I did it with my other kids, too!

I never thought I would. I didn't see the reason till it happened. I didn't get to say goodbye to him that day, and then they sent him on the bus when I was there to pick him up. It was a bummy day for me :(

ReplyDeleteI cried when both of my babies started school. But I cried as I was leaving so they wouldn't see me. They were so very excited, and I didn't want to ruin it for them. I still get lonely at home without them though.

No tears for Kindergarten. The only time I cried was when my oldest went to preschool. On his first day he screamed and cried and pleaded... the hardest thing EVER to leave! Luckily his teacher was a life-long friend of our family!! :)

ReplyDeleteI didnt think I would, and didnt until...I was fussing over him, thinking he would get upset, when he looked at me and said, "Mom, can I just go in now?" I told him yes, he hugged me and walked away...I walked three blocks home bawling all the way!

i have 5 kids and for some reason my 3rd child was the hardest to watch go. He was so close to me and I knew I'd miss him so much. He is 12 now and boy I'm glad school is back in :)
