Breakfast At Home Makes Cent's Review And ~~Giveaway~~

"The information and prize pack have been provided by General Mills through MyBlogSpark."

Do you know how much money you could save by having breakfast at home?

It’s time to re-think your breakfast routine! Wake up and take the “Breakfast at Home Savings Challenge” to see just how much time and money you could save during the week by shopping and eating breakfast at home.

Beginning on June 15th, take advantage of great savings in-store and online on some of your family's favorite General Mills breakfast items like Honey Nut Cheerios®, Lucky Charms® and Cinnamon Toast Crunch® cereals! Simply select the coupons you want and print them directly from your printer. It’s that simple! Visit EveryDaySaver.com/breakfastathome for details!

I am all for saving money.  I do not like spending more then I have too.  One of the ways I save besides coupons is by eating almost all of our meals at home.

It's a very simple equation.  For the four of us to go out to eat (even at a fast food restaurant) for breakfast, we are looking at a bill of at least $20.  If we stay home and have cereal with milk and even fresh fruit, the total is around $6.  That includes a gallon of milk, box of cereal and a pint of berries.  At the bare minimum that is a $14 savings!!!

Think about how much you could save if you just ate breakfast at home every day.  I even eat breakfast "at home" when we are on vacation.  When we go to Disney World, we buy milk and cereal, and have breakfast in our hotel room every day before we hit the parks.  It saves a ton of money!!!

I am very happy to see that General Mills has started a challenge to get people to consider their spending, and commit to try to save!!  I hope each and everyone of you sits down and does the math to see how much you could save too!!

Now thanks to General Mills and MyBlogSpark, I have a terrific giveaway for you.

  14. We always eat breakfast at home during weekdays, but not weekends. So if we stay at home on weekends, we could probably save $50 .

  18. We eat breakfast at home as long as we're not traveling. But someone who stopped off and got a breakfast sandwich and coffee every weekday could probably save over $1000 a year!

  23. I figured out what we typically eat each week with how much it would cost when eating out and took out what it cost for those items. CRAZY! We save roughly 32 a week just by eating at home. Not to mention the gas it would take to go out.
