Welcome to Hotel Transylvania, Dracula's lavish five-stake resort, where monsters and their families can live it up, free to be the monsters they are without humans to bother them. On one special weekend, Dracula has invited some of his best friends - Frankenstein and his wife, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, the Werewolf family, and more - to celebrate his beloved daughter Mavis's 118th birthday. For Drac, catering to all of these legendary monsters is no problem - but everything could change for the overprotective dad when one ordinary guy stumbles on the hotel and takes a shine to Mavis.
This past Saturday was a busy day for us. We went to a fun event in Rhode Island with Libby's and Brandi Chastain (post coming soon!!) rushed back home in time for Ben and a soccer game, and then went and saw Hotel Transylvania.
Ben Sr and I think Adam Sandler movies are funny. So it was no surprise that we were there to see another one of his movies opening weekend!!
Dracula has a daughter who he is very protective of. Dracula's wife was killed by humans and Dracula is very afraid they may harm his baby. He builds this huge castle that he turns into a Hotel for Monsters. This way they can be safe, and keep away from those awful humans. Monsters need vacations too.
When a human manages to get into the hotel, Dracula spends a lot of time trying to hide him from not only the guests, but his daughter as well.
We loved the movie. The boys spent half the time laughing!!!
This is a great movie for families to see together!!! It shows the struggles that parents go through on a daily basis!!

I do not care for Adam Sandler at all, so I don't have a favorite Adam Sandler movie. But as a characters' voice, I think he'd be fine. I would love to see this movie.
