The Phantom Of The Opera Movie Review And ~~Giveaway~~

Musical Drama based on Andrew Lloyd Webber's celebrated musical phenomenon. The Phantom of the Opera tells the story of a disfigured musical genius (Gerard Butler) who haunts the catacombs beneath the Paris Opera, waging a reign of terror over its occupants. When he falls fatally in love with the lovely Christine (Emmy Rossum), the Phantom devotes himself to creating a new star for the Opera, exerting a strange sense of control over the young soprano as he nurtures her extraordinary talents.

I am a HUGE musical fan. I have seen Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Aida, and Phantom on Broadway.

When I found out that there was a newer movie made about The Phantom, I had to watch it.

I am soooooo glad I did!!!

I am a big fan of Gerard Butler, and his version of The Phantom made me want to hold him and cry and cry!!! He has a beautiful voice, and a way about him that you instantly fall in love with.

Emmy Rossum, who plays Christine, and Patrick Wilson who plays Raoul, have beautiful voices too, and work very well together.

Minnie Driver, has a very funny part as the Diva Carlotta. She doesn't actually do the singing, but the singing is hilarious!!

If you are a musical fan, or love The Phantom, you will love this version. Be warned, you will cry and want The Phantom for yourself!!!

Now because I love this movie a lot, I want to give one of you a chance to own a copy.
